Types of Love, Limitless Love!
Love requires no boundaries. It is the elixir of life that molds our hearts like cookie dough, wrapping it in a fine foil to brown in an oven until we burn with a need for more. It has many shapes, such as the many shapes you'll find of cookie cutters in a section of baking supplies at a store- from the heart-shaped love for a lover, versus the star-shaped admiration one would feel for a role model. There's the warm circle, like an old-style family recipe's simple result, that wraps around your heartstrings when your family that you love is near. There are rectangles like the bridge that connects us from one stranger to another until it builds up slowly towards friendship.
There are all forms of love, and all colors too! From the bright red of passion, to the mellow yellow of a fondness that's been set in stone for a long time coming. But with so many forms, is there really need for a limit? We love our family, our friends, our neighbors- but if we could just all love each other as each other, would it help us all in the end?
Hate fills the world, creating an empty void. We try to fill it so that the fear stops, but it just grows instead! Don't hate your neighbor- not with reasons like who they love or what they wear. Love them for the things they do, say, and hear. Love them for their kindness, love them for their enthusiasm to jog or to help. Don't judge them for race or for sex or something else! Judge them for their crimes, both the good and the bad. Did they try to kill someone, or save them instead?
Love is a resource, a life-long fuel that is as plentiful as stars in the sky- and we know well just how many there are. With so many stars and so much love to fill the void that is hate, can't we stop hating, and start to appreciate?
